Description:

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Electrical Specialist is responsible for installing electrical systems and components, ensuring proper functionality, troubleshooting various electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting: Installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems, equipment, and devices.

• Creating and reviewing electrical design plans.

• Providing technical support and guidance.

• Documenting and reporting on electrical design, installation, and maintenance activities.

• Providing technical training and recommendations for electrical craft workers.

• Performing quality control to ensure repairs and work are done correctly.

• Performing start up inspections and performance tests on new and modified systems.

• Support feasibility on product design changes and lead modifications and code updates as required.

• Installing, programming, calibrating, and commissioning various electrical/instrumentation devices including variable frequency drives, PID control systems, temperature control systems, level transmitters, flow meters, power monitoring equipment and programmable logic controllers.

• Assist Maintenance and Production in troubleshooting and repairing down equipment.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education: Associate's degree or 5 - 7 years of experience.

Field of Study Preferred: Electrical Engineering or similar field

Required Work Experience: 5 - 7 years

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
