The Opportunity

This position works out of our Almaty, Kazakhstan location in the Abbott Diagnostics Division.

As the Business Development and Customer Service Specialist you’ll be representing Abbott to targeted customers in order to increase awareness of Abbott and its brand, generate sales opportunities and build customer preference.

What You’ll Do

  • Represent the company and its products to the clients in a positive manner

  • Has well-developed knowledge of the company’s sales and marketing goals and objectives and executes initiatives to achieve them

  • Build long-term relationships with clients, including after-sales service and customer development planning

  • Provide technical support to the first-level

  • Share customer feedback to the company in anticipation of improving products and services and participate in developing marketing ideas

Required Qualifications

  • Higher education: medicine / biomedicine / medical technology / engineering / electromechanics / economics

  • Knowledge of diagnostics equipment and the local diagnostics market is desirable

  • Excellent sales skills, successful experience in developing the client's business

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with key decision-makers

  • Technical literacy preferred, engineering experience preferred

  • English at least Intermediate level

  • Ability to travel up to 70% of assigned territory
