Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Windows Workstation Engineer. Located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, this role is centered around the maintenance and deployment of Windows Workstation operating systems within a compliance environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OS imaging and security hardening operations.

• Evaluate vendor vulnerability updates for specific hardware and software.

• Administer Active Directory design and Group Policy.

• Monitor a production Microsoft infrastructure environment to ensure system and service availability.

• Support in resolving escalated application, operating system deployment, and hardware issues.

• Develop customized software feature installations for specific applications.

• Document installation configurations and work procedures.

• Engage in various projects, ensuring efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

• Support and monitor highly available solutions.

• Implement new software releases and provide maintenance for Microsoft technologies.

• Develop processes to automate regular maintenance and increase efficiency.

• Identify and resolve issues with the production Microsoft environment.

• Provide on-call support and system backup and restore services. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft and Active Directory

• Demonstrated ability in Design and Implementation

• Experience in Networking and Automation

• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills

• Proficient in Procedures and Compliance

• Knowledge of Quality and Production

• Familiarity with Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Experience with About Time software

• Ability to Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues

• Familiarity with Security protocols and methodologies

• Experience with Configuration Management and Change Management

• Understanding of Operating System and Backup Technologies

• Skilled in using Monitoring Tools
