Responsibilities
TRC is a global consulting firm providing environmentally advanced and technology-powered solutions for the oil and gas, power and infrastructure industry. Backed by 50 years of design know-how, we combine science and applied technology with sound business strategy to solve complex transportation infrastructure challenges for today and tomorrow. Our assignments include small and medium-sized bridges, culverts, railroad grade separations, viaducts, and major water crossings in both rural and urban environments. We have an immediate need for an experienced Transportation Construction Inspection Supervisor. Qualifications
Experience and Skill Requirements: Minimum Requirements (One of the following) One (1) year minimum PennDOT experience as a Technical Assistant 2 (TA-2) or higher. Two (2) years minimum of transportation, highway or bridge construction inspection experience. Four (4) years minimum of highway or bridge construction, non-highway or bridge inspection, or highway or bridge design experience and non-inspection personnel must successfully complete the twelve (12) web-based TCI training modules. Holds an active Professional Engineer's License is qualified for a TCI-1. Holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in a non-Civil Engineering field and must successfully complete the twelve (12) web-based TCI training modules is qualified for TCI-1. Holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is qualified for TCI-2. Holds an Associate's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is qualified for TCI-1. Required Skills:
Computer Proficiency. Active driver's license. High school diploma or equivalent (may be substituted for experience). 1-4 years of Construction Inspection experience. Supervisor 4 plus years' experience. Preferred Skills: Client Requested certifications, including: NICET Level 1 or higher in Transportation/Highway Construction. NECEPT-Bituminous and Concrete Field Technician. ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician. CDS NeXtGen and/or ECMS Wave 5. Preferred Experience: Associate's or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Previous PennDOT and or PA Turnpike Inspection Experience. Compensation: Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee. Disclaimers
