We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team at our HQ in Allentown, PA. This critical role provides financial support, reporting, forecasting, and analysis for a world leading and expanding manufacturing business at Air Products. This analyst will fill a broad-based role reporting directly to the Integrated Equipment Controller, and responsibilities will include cost analysis, acquisition valuation, M&A integration, financial planning and reporting, ad hoc analysis, and strategic decision making.

Required Skills / Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prepare and present complex data in a simple, understandable manner. Independent, self-starter, with a strong work ethic, high degree of motivation and the ability to contribute to a positive team attitude. Strong bias for action; results oriented with an ability to meet tight deadlines. Self-starter who is adept to prioritizing work and coordinating tasks simultaneously. Ability to work in fast paced environment and adapt to changing work environment and requirements with a sense of urgency. Process-improvement driven individual who proactively questions current practices and can identify root cause and corrective actions. Teamwork oriented and able to effectively interact cross-functionally with all levels of the organization. Ability to consistently deliver on time and with highest levels of quality. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SAP.
Key Job Responsibilities: Partner with business leaders to enable topline growth and margin expansion through financial analysis and practical counsel. Act as a financial adviser to the leadership team to align business decisions which enable performance to quarterly financial commitments. Drive the detailed development of the annual operating plan and financial forecasts. Perform variance analysis interpreting the impact of results against monthly, quarterly, and yearly plan/forecast. Present monthly financial results to business leadership. Develop new and enhance existing processes used in financial modeling. Perform ad-hoc analysis based upon changing business needs. Provide training aimed at improving financial acumen within the business.
Minimum Hiring Requirements: MBA preferred with a Finance or Accounting concentration; will consider relevant work experience as well. 5-10 years of financial analysis experience. This position may involve up to 10% travel to manufacturing l cations globally.
Work Hours: Hybrid schedule available with 3 days onsite at our HQ in Allentown, PA & 2 days remote 10% travel to manufacturing locations globally.
