Job Description

We are hiring NDE Level 2 inspectors with documented qualifications and certifications in PT(II), VT(II), and MT(II)

Responsibilities

• Provide current certification documentation including training and experience records, exam results, and vision test records.

• Adhere to OSHA regulations related to the shipbuilding industry.

• Maintain a minimum of 4 years of continuous experience as a certified inspector in applicable methods.

• Perform MT inspections on structural welds in a shop environment.

• Operate necessary NDT equipment and record and analyze results.

• Pass general theory, procedure-specific, and practical exams for applicable NDT methods.

• Conduct visual acuity exams using Jaeger 1 letters at a distance of not less than 12 inches.

• Perform minor grinding for relevancy checks during the MT inspection process.

• Climb vertical ladders, crawl in tanks and confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.*
