In this position you will work at the flagship location for Lehigh Valley Topper Cancer Institute, the John and Dorothy Morgan Cancer Center, located at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. Our cancer center provides a full range of cancer screening diagnostic, treatment, rehabilitation and continuing care services. In this collaborative role with Jefferson and the Sydney Kimmel Cancer Center, you can expect: Inpatient only care for hematology oncology patients 12-hour Day Shift - 1 Week on, 1 Week off Cross-training with the hematology team, and exposure to Stem Cell and CAR-T programs To be a member of a dedicated Hematology Oncology inpatient clinician team Lehigh Valley Topper Cancer Institute, now proudly part of the NCI Designated Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Jefferson Health, has announced that it is now offering treatment using autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells. Sometimes referred to as "a living drug," CAR-T is part of the explosion of cell and gene therapies within the last decade that have significantly transformed the treatment of cancer.
