Location: Allendale & Oakland, NJ

Position: Shipping & Receiving

Shift: 7:00am—3:30pm (Monday-Friday)

Pay: $22-$23/hour ; Overtime: $30-$36/hour

Job Description

The Materials Associate Level I will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations of the warehouse and inventory control. This position involves coordinating and performing a variety of tasks including shipping and receiving, storage, transportation, material handling, inventory control, and replenishments.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming materials and verify shipment accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders.

• Sort, count, and label inventory.

• Maintain inventory control of all incoming items.

• Coordinate with carriers to arrange and issue instructions for shipping and delivery.

• Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies.

• Deliver materials and supplies to the requisitioning department.

• Ensure accurate inventory counts and balance information is maintained.

• Support daily production schedules.

• Perform cycle count activities.

• Manage hazardous waste inventory and schedule waste pick-ups.

• Accurately generate all required shipping documents.

• Maintain the Material Data Sheet binder.

Essential Skills

• ERP knowledge for tracking inventory between sites

• Material handling

• Warehouse inventory management

• Loading and unloading trucks

• Driving a company van

• Organizing warehouse spaces

• Lifting and packaging boxes

• Using a pallet jack

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• ERP or WMS knowledge

• Experience with electric pallet jacks

• Materials management

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
