Job Overview :

The SAP Concur Travel Consultant (Project Manager/Functional Consultant/Care Consultant) is an experienced in the SAP Concur Travel, and Expense products and associated systems. Travel Consultant will serve as the primary consultant on Professional, and Time & Materials implementations or as a Care Consultant of SAP Concurs Travel & Expense products for customers.

This includes managing customer functional expectations, client requirements gathering, system design and support. The Travel Consultant also consults with a variety of SAP Concur and client resources to identify solutions for each implementation or Care customer. The Travel Consultant is responsible for executing to all functional project deliverables. Complete phase 1 and phase 2 implementations, as well as other configuration work, within aggressive timeframes while consistently delivering exceptional levels of work quality and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

Work with client and Travel Management Company resources to identify business requirements, analyze, and configure the Concur Travel application to meet client needs according to Configuration Services or our Care Service procedures and best practices.

Effectively interface with external clients and internal teams while demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication practices.

Informs clients and Travel Management Company resources of project activities and progress on a consistent basis through meetings, status reports and standard communications.

Ensure configuration inquiries are promptly addressed, and solutions are completed accurately and on time.

Ability to manage both simple and complex, multi-phase functional requirements in implementations, which may include custom add-on services

Gather functional and business requirements from customers, evaluate their needs and create a system design and resultant configuration while working closely together with SAP Concur PM and Technical resources

Maintain a current and thorough understanding of Concur Travel and Expense.

Contribute to the development of configuration best practices and contribute to team training and development efforts.

Entry level/basic Project Management

Perform Project Implementations according to SAP Concurs Project Management Methodology

Work with the PM to develop a project plan for each assigned functional deliverable based on SAP Concurs methodology

Complete other activities and duties as needed.

Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies.

Manage the expectations of the client (internal and external) regarding product functionality, functional deliverables, timeframes, etc. by understanding the key business drivers and their prioritization

Consistently communicate deliverable status with SAP Concur project management and customer by means of status reports and status calls

Adhere to SAP Concur SOPs to engage customers with Post-Production Support

Qualifications

Education, Experience & Training required :

BS/BA or a combination of experience and education/training equivalent to a four-year college degree

4 Years in consulting field with Functional Expert experience

2 Years SAP Concur travel experience

2 Years GDS (Global Distribution System) experience

2 Years as a travel agent or administering online booking tools

3 years of experience in a software/services consulting environment, preferably financial services

Ability to pass a background check

Successful experience working directly with customers to resolve complex implementation issues

Demonstrated detailed knowledge of software design theory and current practices

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage workflow to meet deadlines

Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain issues lists, developing resolution plans, and proper communications to clients

Effective communication and presentation skills

Excellent organizational and planning skills

Analysis and troubleshooting skills

System Testing and Product Evaluation Skills

Creative solution development

Previous Experience in ERP or HR a plus

Strong Microsoft Office knowledge

Compensation Range Transparency : SAPbelieves the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAPs commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 68,800 - 156,800 (USD) USD.The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidatewill be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills,experience, scope ofthe role, location, etc. as determinedthrough theselection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
