Administrator, Global IT Systems & Security

Job Description:

This is a FT onsite 5 days a week role that is responsible for the entire global organizational daily administrative duties not limited to monitoring systems health/performance, addressing any systems issues and security alerts, processing security change requests, ensuring business operational uptime from all IT infrastructure services. Participate in technical research and development to enable continuous innovation within the infrastructure to improve overall security, efficiency, availability of our systems/tasks. Manage projects related to infrastructure and security initiatives as well as facility expansion within the organization. Job duties:

• Administer, support, and maintain all core infrastructure technologies and related services inclusive but not limited to Fortinet (SD-WAN/Firewall), Cisco Meraki (switches/WAPs), Microsoft on-premises or cloud infrastructure services, VMWare/Hyper-V virtualization, Datto/Dell Avamar enterprise storage.

• Responsible for leading day-to-day system administration tasks, including management of servers, network, MS Active Directory, SAN, VPN, patches, hot fixes and updating any security measure directives for all global company regional sites.

• Lead all security incident alerts from the Terumo Security Team and contain, mitigate, prevent, analyze, document, and communicate all security issues.

• Manage and configure all corporate data to follow European compliance of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standards in terms of geolocation of user created data within each regional office.

• Ensure operational stability of all global enterprise level technologies and services supporting the lines of business continuity.

• Monitor the health of all systems, remediate issues, identify trends, and present results to IT Management.

• Support and administer IT services in various regional sites around the globe.

• Collaborate with vendors on related IT operations services and verification of proper service levels, support and terms are satisfied.

• Lead Microsoft Intune implementation and maintenance for all mobile devices on iOS, Android, Windows OS as well as configuring policies to limit data loss.

• Participate and/or lead in technical integrations activities in support of company expansion or future acquisitions.

• Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory including of GPOs, multifactor authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, SCCM for workstation administration.

• Manage all projects related to implementation of new infrastructure or security initiatives by the parent such as Varonis, Thycotic, Dell VxRail and Avamar solutions.

• Administer Identity and Access Management, including configuring and troubleshooting Azure MFA and Azure AD Single Sign-on (SSO).

• Document and diagram technologies at all supported sites.

• Provide after-hours support for infrastructure related emergencies as well as occasional weekend maintenance when necessary.

• Review monthly system backups log and resolve issues in a timely manner related to Datto/Dell Avamar/Druva backup services.

• Complete quarterly restore process to validate backup system functionality as stated in the backup standard operating procedure.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or closely related field.

2. Ability to work onsite M-F with off hours as needed to support a Global Company.

3. A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the IT field related to operations technical support, enterprise level infrastructure, or cybersecurity, of which include:

4. A minimum of three (3) years of experience with networking using Cisco Meraki switches, wireless access points, security cameras, temperature sensors.

5. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud Services such as Azure AD, virtual machines, blob storage, multifactor authentication (MFS), Conditional Access, Defender, Sentinel, etc.

6. A minimum of two (2) years of experience specializing in administering servers (Microsoft 2012/2016/2019), virtualization (VMWare/Hyper-V), backup solutions (Datto/Avamar).

7. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in network technologies such as SD-WAN (Fortinet, Aryaka), site to site and remote VPN tunnels (FortiClient) and network ports.

8. A minimum of one (1) year of experience in cybersecurity, security incident management, Nextgen AV (Carbon Black) and administering a DLP system (McAfee ePO dashboard).

9. A minimum of one (1) year of experience in administering Microsoft Intune (MDM/MEM) to company mobile devices.

10. Advanced troubleshooting in the areas of networking, systems, servers, and storage.

11. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

12. Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.

Desired Qualifications

1. Advanced technical knowledge in all infrastructure services including, but not limited to, server virtualization, backups, disaster recovery, storage, firewall, routers, switches, network cabling, event logging, performance tuning, physical appliances, etc.

2. Experience with general networking, SD-WAN, TCP/IP, Routing, DHCP, VLANs, BGP, SFTP, SMTP, FTP, HTTPS, SSL, TSL, Telnet.

3. Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services, Cisco Meraki products, Fortinet firewalls, VMWare ESC, VMWare 5.5 including VLAN and Enterprise Plus features.

4. Experience with administering the Microsoft collaboration stack including Office 365, Azure AD, Exchange and SharePoint Online.

5. Experience with Fiber channel, iSCSI or NFS SAN.

6. Excellent interpersonal skills and focused service to exceed client requests.

7. Strong Project Management skills to run multiple technical initiatives within infrastructure and security simultaneously and within short timelines.

8. Exceptional attention to detail, able to work within a team environment as well as autonomously.

9. Consistently learns about implemented or new technology related to IT services.

10. Certificates in Microsoft Azure or CompTIA Security+ preferred.
