Robert Half Payroll Administrator in Alhambra, California

Description We are in search of a Payroll Administrator to join our team located in Alhambra, California. This role involves the management of payroll systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, and handling related customer inquiries. The industry of work is within the realm of Human Capital Management, and the employment type is short term contract.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient processing of payroll data

• Maintain and manage the Human Capital Management (HCM) system

• Monitor daily reports, identifying and resolving any pending deductions or pay issues

• Review and analyze reports, bringing any issues to the attention of payroll technicians

• Ensure accurate record-keeping of employee start dates and absence information

• Conduct necessary research to resolve any system-related issues

• Manage and fix payroll deductions as necessary

• Utilize Excel for data sorting, filtering, and use of pivot tables and vlookups

• Work independently with systems, requiring minimal guidance

• Basic knowledge in the process of payroll is a prerequisite. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary for the role.

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required.

• Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a significant plus.

• Knowledge of Ceridian is expected.

• Crystal Reports skills are an advantage.

• Previous experience with 401k - RRSP Administration is beneficial.

• Familiarity with About Time software is helpful.

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions is required.

• Auditing skills are essential for the role.

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions is expected.
