We are located in Old Town Alexandria, directly across the street from the King St. Metro and Alexandria Union Station,

The ideal candidate will hold comparable set-up experience or has worked in customer service before, a friendly/outgoing approach, a great approach to teamwork and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You must have full availability to work the ever-changing schedule of hospitality. This is a fantastic opportunity for those seeking to begin their hospitality career.

Shift Pattern: flexibility with schedules, with mostly MID/PM shifts, weekends and holidays availability required.

Pay Rate: $9.07 per hour gratuity, when performing Server duties and $19.78 per hour, when performing Houseperson duties.

What will I be doing?

As a Banquet Attendant, you would be responsible for setting and cleaning banquet facilities, serving and providing our guests with excellent customer service, in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Set tables and chairs to meet function specifications.
• Clean meeting space including, but not limited to, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing, wiping areas and washing walls before and after events
• Deliver and serve food and beverages, including, but not limited to, meals,condimentsand accompaniments
• Ensure menu knowledge
• Remove, glassware, silverware, etc. from tables at the conclusion of the meal period and deliver to the stewarding area
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Respond to guest requests in a friendly,timely, and efficient manner
• Assistfellow team members and other departments wherever necessary tomaintainpositive working relationships
• Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
