Job Title: Account Development Executive

Location: Minnesota or North Dakota

Workplace Type: Hybrid (Requires 3 - 4 days of outside sales within your territory)

Job Description

This is a great opportunity to work with a brand-new delivery program launching in the area. In this position, you will be responsible for recruiting local businesses to join the delivery partner program. You will work alongside a Field Manager and other local contractors to visit prospective businesses, pitch the program opportunity, qualify the business, guide the business through the application process, drive referrals through community organizations, and coordinate and execute recruitment events. This role requires travel (up to two hours driving distance) and has the opportunity to earn commission (up to $250 per partner converted).

Responsibilities

  • Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns (up to 2 hours driving distance).

  • Present and pitch the new program opportunity to prospective businesses and generate interest to apply.

  • Qualify the prospective businesses and guide them through the application process.

  • Lead activity and manage the pipeline in Salesforce.

  • Support the Field Manager in planning and hosting recruitment events in the community (e.g., lunch and learns, townhall meetings).

  • Collaborate with the Field Manager to work with local influencers such as chambers of commerce and economic development associations.

  • Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis.

Essential Skills

  • 1-2 years in an outbound sales role (door to door).

  • Experience in account management.

  • Sales and sales support experience.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-2 years in sales and/or customer service experience.

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

  • Field sales experience is a plus.

  • Prior experience in a role that involved sales and/or negotiation with customers is a plus.

  • Professionalism, enthusiasm to work with others, and a high sense of urgency.

  • Attention to detail and ability to solve problems for applicants in the field.

  • Tech savvy (experience working with multiple systems and technology).

  • Ability to travel up to 4 hours round trip distance daily.

Work Environment

This role involves extensive travel within a two-hour driving distance from the targeted towns. You will be working closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors, utilizing technologies such as Salesforce for managing activities and pipelines. The work environment includes planning and hosting community recruitment events, and collaborating with local influencers and organizations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00
