Saint-Gobain Quality Inspector - KP Windows (Alexandria) in Alexandria, Canada

KP Windows has an exciting career opportunity for Quality Inspector to join the Alexandria, ON facility.

  • Day shift (7am-3pm)

  • Evening shift (3pm-11pm)

Reporting to the Engineering/Quality Manager, the Quality Inspector will be responsible for maintaining high quality process and procedure to ensure optimal manufacturing. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. The ideal candidate has a proven record of success in fast-paced environments. The incumbent must have the ability to work with and communicate with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate for this position takes pride in his/her hands-on and analytical abilities, organization skills and attention to detail.

Role Objective:

  • Perform detailed incoming material & detailed product Inspections by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests

  • Complete all inspection reports and maintain the documentation & Record keeping

  • Training employees on all work stations on all quality check points.

  • Support investigations into supplier issues issue NCR and follow ups

  • Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Post-secondary education in a related field. (Quality assurance or Industrial process)

  • Have strong organizational skills

  • Must be able to read CAD drawings.

  • Must how to use tape measure (standard & metric) and caliper

  • Be quality oriented and able to learn products and Quality Control guidelines

  • Must have good verbal communication skills

  • Must have the ability to work independently
