COOK MANAGER
10-MONTH POSITION - 7.75 hours/day
STARTING SALARY: PER CSEA CONTRACT - Minimum Hiring Rate$18.00/HOUR
Description/Qualifications:
Supervises and participates in the preparation of serving food;
Supervise the storage and care of food and supplies;
Supervises and participates in the cleaning of the kitchen, serving, storage and dining areas, and the care of equipment;
Keeps records on food and supplies received and used;
Keeps employee time records;
Plans work schedules;
Prepares daily reports and maintains records as required by NYS and Federal Agencies;
Other related duties as assigned.
Must meet Civil Service Requirements
Must meet Civil Service Requirements. Good knowledge of approved methods of food preparation, knowledge of nutritional values of food; ability to keep records and submit reports; gets along well with children and adults; ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions; resourceful; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
