Job Summary

The Marketing and Events Intern will assist the Cirrus Aircraft Marketing team in various projects and campaigns related to digital marketing, content and collateral creation, web analytics, strategic marketing plans, event planning and more.

This is a full-time internship opportunity based out of our Vision Center in Knoxville, TN from May 2025 through August 2025.

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Assist content marketing and basic SEO

  • Assist the Event team in planning and coordinating events

  • Strategize and help execute digital and social media marketing strategy

  • Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on new products, services and policies

  • Participate as member of a team of professional and dedicated employees

  • Support teams to plan, develop, and execute marketing initiatives including digital marketing, content writing and email marketing

  • Receive on-the-job training and experience working on actual marketing campaigns, special events and other real-time projects

  • Develop skills vitally important in today’s fast-paced work environment including analytical skills, team-based interaction, goal setting and strategic planning, the ability to work under pressure, listening and organizational skills, among others

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance

  • Junior or Senior currently pursuing a college degree in marketing, advertising, branding or public relations

  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through

  • Passion for marketing and a sense of urgency to accomplish objectives

  • Excellent communication and writing skills

  • A self-starter and must enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment

  • Good research and problem-solving skills

  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Excel, Keynote, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience in social media platforms and ability to learn other internal database programs

  • Some experience in digital marketing and email marketing preferred

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

  • Must be able to complete entire duration of internship.
