We are on the hunt for a Controller to join our team located in Knoxville, Tennessee. As a Controller, your primary role will be to assist with financial account management, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the process. This role provides a short-term contract employment opportunity within the non-profit industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the completion of month-end closure procedures

• Handling account reconciliation tasks with precision and diligence

• Managing monthly cash reporting to maintain financial transparency

• Providing support with accounts payable and accounts receivable operations

• Serving as a backup for payroll operations, ensuring smooth processes and accurate records

• Utilizing accounting software systems proficiently to maintain and analyze financial data

• Managing the budget processes, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines

• Applying knowledge of non-profit accounting principles and practices

• Utilizing CRM tools for efficient customer relationship management.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Controller or similar role

• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

• Proven expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with budget processes and related financial forecasting

• Experience in managing month end close processes

• Knowledge and experience handling Benefits Payroll

• Prior experience in Non-profit Accounting

• Familiarity with Fund Accounting specific to Non-Profit organizations

• Proven ability in Account Reconciliation tasks
