Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the storage of materials, satisfying production requirements, and the movement and disbursement of materials using PIT equipment. This role requires approximately 60% of the time operating a forklift and 40% picking by hand.
Responsibilities
Complete PIT equipment training and become certified to drive at the facility.
Responsible for proper warehousing of materials.
Attend daily pre-shift meetings.
Learn inventory management system.
Understand and follow instructions written on build tickets and/or picking documents.
Follow safe and proper movement procedures of materials, including:
Truck to dock.
Dock to rack locations.
Rack locations to picking areas.
Picking areas to kits.
Picking areas to production.
Picking area to outbound customer facility (Hot parts).
Adhere to all safety regulations.
Support the Quality and Environmental policies and Management Systems.
Perform other duties as needed or required.

Work Environment
This role is based in a production facility with 6 assembly lines. The work shifts are Monday through Friday, with first shift running from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm and second shift from 3:00 pm to 12:30 am. Required attire includes steel-toed shoes, jeans, and a t-shirt, with eye, ear, and hand protection provided by the company.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alburtis, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00
