Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee all warehouse personnel and operations, ensuring effective and efficient operations of all warehouse functions. You will also promote positive work attitudes, atmosphere, and communication to maximize productivity. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, be a self-starter, and possess a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse personnel and operations.

• Ensure effective and efficient operations of all warehouse functions.

• Promote positive work attitudes, atmosphere, and communication.

• Supervise material handling, shipping and receiving, loading and unloading.

• Manage picking orders, inventory, and forklift operations.

• Provide excellent customer service.

• Ensure attention to detail in all tasks.

• Handle lifting and heavy lifting as required.

• Manage warehouse inventory control and general production activities.

• Oversee packing, packaging, labeling, and pallet jack operations.

Essential Skills

• Warehouse production and material handling experience.

• Shipping and receiving expertise.

• Ability to load and unload materials.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Supervisory experience in a warehouse environment.

• Order picking and inventory management skills.

• Forklift operation proficiency.

• Customer service skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Capability to lift 50+ lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or three to six months related experience and/or training.

• Ability to read and interpret safety procedure manuals.

• Minimum 6 months of previous supervisory experience.

• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage conflict.

• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.

Work Environment

You will be regularly exposed to various weather conditions including cold, heat, or wet environments. The shop environment can be very loud, so be prepared for a high-noise setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00
