[About the Role [This position involves managing and successfully meeting the goals of all the various stages of our projects - design, fabrication, and installationall while creating a fan club of internal and external customers. This role is crucial for us as it has a direct impact on our revenue, gross profit and expansion! *[Responsibilities]{arial="" narrow",sans-serif"=""}]{arial="" narrow",sans-serif"=""}]{arial="" narrow",sans-serif"=""}*

• The main responsibility of a Project Manager (PM) is to generate an assigned gross profit by controlling project labor/material costs and to bring the project in on time and on budget while creating a fan club.

You will (through researching or developing the estimate documentation) gain the knowledge to understand what a successful end result looks like (scope and deadlines) and will work backwards to achieve that goal by detailing steps that will include delegation, scheduling, review and follow-up.

Projects will either come from the estimating team (already estimated) or the PM will estimate them as well as project manage them. This ratio is typically (60/40).

If the PM is to develop an estimate they will review, interpret architectural drawings/specifications and or concept drawings/renderings/sketches, to accurately determine scope. Once scope has been finalized, they then they will estimate material and labor costs associated with that scope and apply the markup needed to result in a 40-60% gross profit.

Understand and resolve any project actual vs. estimated issues.

Ensure accuracy of estimates and estimating process

Daily assess projects and tasks, reprioritize schedules if necessary

Conduct periodic on-site observation of projects.

Communicate with Architects, Owners, General Contractors, and CSB team members to bring the project in on time and on budget.

Responsible for procuring all needed materials to complete projects (or delegating this task)

Save important emails/meeting notes to the shared folder system.
