Interior Specialists Operations Specialist in Albuquerque, New Mexico
Plans utilization of facilities, equipment, materials, and personnel to improve efficiency of operations. Creates process and operational consistencies to reduce costs and improve performance. Audits current procedures to improve efficiency of operations. Provide operational expertise in the Branch. May lead in the creation and implementation of processes that ensure Branch compliance. Identify and analyze operational inefficiencies to establish best practices.
Primary Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Daily Scheduling of Installer base
Daily Scheduling coordination with service & warranty manager
Create work orders and installer packets
Daily installer coordination
Coordinate material needs with warehouse associate
Help collect installer information for new hire subcontracted crews
Assistance in payroll confirmation with subcontracted installers
Daily/Weekly/Monthly confirmation of job complete status
Establishes operational processes and ensures alignment with corporate operational strategies.
Investigates operational issues and resolves general problems.
Drives documentation process and evaluates information pertaining to Branch operations.
Serves as point of contact for SOX audits and various administrative programs compliance by establishing
processes and providing direction to Branch associates.
Interfaces regularly with clients, customers and/or internal personnel to communicate information.
Provides training related information and tools.
May lead and/or assist in the development and distribution of policies, industry standards and regulations.
May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support personnel or
Typically located in a comfortable indoor area. There may be regular exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes or odors, temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts, or bright lights.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Most of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking and/or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).
Education & Experience
Preferred qualifications: operations experience.
Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field; certification is required in some areas OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
Certification is required in some areas.
Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.
Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct "customers" of the process.
