Applied Research Associates, Inc. Costpoint & Project Scheduling Analyst in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Description

This position is in the Corporate office located in Albuquerque, NM, but can be remote. The ideal candidate will be able to work with minimal supervision and be flexible enough to work in multiple roles in a challenging IT and business environment. You will be joining the Business & Data Systems team that currently supports the following applications: Costpoint (including Reporting, Time & Expense and Shop Floor Time across 4 environments), Integrify (workflow tool), SkyVault (CM Tool), Power BI Reporting, Database Administration, and Integrations between all corporate systems

What you’ll do as a Staff Business Systems Analyst

  • Schedule projects related to Costpoint interfacing systems and roll-up milestones for Monthly Status Reports to share with senior management

  • Assist with the development, roll-out, and support of a new Costpoint workflow interface system; current projects we are developing include: vendor management, purchasing, and HR workflows to automate manual business processes

  • Gather and produce documentation and user training as required

  • Provide advanced support for Costpoint with the other team analysts during business hours

  • Develop communications for end-users about upgrades and application downtime

  • Gather report requirements and review new reports

  • Support the Senior Business Analysts researching problems, assisting with Costpoint upgrades, and planning future work

  • Collaborate with other Business and Data Systems team members on various projects

  • Staff Business Systems Analyst Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree related to Business Management, Management of Information Systems or related degree

  • 5+ years of experience using or supporting Costpoint

  • 2+ years of scheduling and managing projects and communicating project status to management

  • Experience across a broad range of typical corporate functions such as Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, Contracts, Labor and HR

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively

  • Ability to work well in teams with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Proven ability to understand business system requirements and provide solutions to complex problems

  • Staff Business Systems Analyst Preferences

  • Certified Project Management Professional

  • Experience with the Costpoint Data Dictionary and writing SQL queries against the schema

  • Experience using an IT Ticketing System
