Description We are seeking a Controller to join our team based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The individual will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, preparing financial forecasts, and ensuring accuracy of physical inventory. This role also involves providing financial advice to the plant manager, meeting corporate requirements, and managing a small accounting team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily financial operations

• Prepare and present monthly reports of results, forecasts, and annual budgets

• Develop, implement, and manage finance accounting procedures to guide financial decisions

• Establish, maintain, and monitor appropriate internal control safeguards

• Analyze financial statements and management reports to identify business trends and potential risks/opportunities

• Protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential

• Provide ongoing evaluation of operating costs and profit margins and advise management on improving efficiency and profitability

• Ensure records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles

• Review audit files and assume responsibility for interim and yearly audits

• Manage cash disbursements, cash receipts, monitoring of delinquent accounts, and monitoring of office and plant equipment purchases.

Skills:

• Proficient in ERP Solutions

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Auditing and Budget Processes

• Familiarity with Month End Close and Annual Physical Inventory

• Ability to prepare Consolidated Financial Statements and Financial Statement

• Proficient in Monthly Reporting and Financial Forecast

• Knowledge of Cycle Count and GAAP Accounting

• Familiarity with US GAAP Requirements • Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller role or similar

• Proficiency in ERP Solutions is required

• Must have comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary

• Familiarity with auditing processes is essential

• Proficiency in Budget Processes and Month End Close processes is required

• Experience with Annual Physical Inventory and Cycle Count is necessary

• Must be capable of preparing and managing Consolidated Financial Statements

• Proficiency in Financial Statement and Financial Statement Preparation is required

• Experience with Monthly Reporting is necessary

• Knowledge of Financial Forecast is essential

• Familiarity with GAAP Accounting and US GAAP is necessary

• Must be able to legally work in the country of employment without sponsorship

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required

• Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary

• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field is required. A master's degree or professional certification (such as a CPA) is preferred.
