Job Title: Project Superintendent
Job Description
We are seeking a Project Superintendent who will oversee the total construction effort of several projects to ensure they are constructed safely in accordance with design, budget, and schedule, and that the end results meet both the company's quality standards and the customer's satisfaction. This role includes interfacing with client representatives, A/E representatives, subcontractors, and more. The Project Superintendent will conceptualize plans for project completion and ensure that daily and weekly job-site activities align with these plans.

Responsibilities
Oversee the total construction effort to ensure projects are constructed safely, within design, budget, and schedule, and meet quality standards.
Interface with client representatives, A/E representatives, subcontractors, etc.
Conceptualize and ensure daily and weekly job-site activities are consistent with project plans.
Communicate company policies to Project Superintendents, on-site staff, subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and owners.
Ensure overall quality control for both the company and subcontractors on the project.
Analyze and resolve construction problems, implement corrective actions, and monitor their effectiveness.
Train and mentor on-site Project Superintendents and other staff.
Study job cost reports to identify areas needing attention and initiate changes to stay within budget.
Act as the company’s representative and develop professional relationships with stakeholders.
Interpret specifications, blueprints, submittals, shop drawings, and job orders.
Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings, review schedules, meeting minutes, and required activities.
Delegate activities to Assistant Superintendents, Engineers, Foremen, and other personnel.
Assign qualified personnel to operate and maintain equipment and tools.
Communicate production goals daily.
Inspect work to ensure conformance with drawings, specifications, codes, and safety regulations.
Maintain documentation such as timecards, daily reports, logs, production forms, and injury reports.
Assist the Project Manager with cost estimates for change orders.
Substitute for the Project Manager as needed in meetings and documentation.
Possess ultimate field authority on assigned projects.
Ability to travel frequently and operate a company or personal vehicle for company purposes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in construction management, commercial construction, and general contracting.
Experience as a Superintendent.
Ability to work rapidly and accurately with tools and equipment when required.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level can be loud. This position is performed in outside weather conditions. The role requires physical activity such as talking or hearing, standing, walking, using hands, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities are required. This is a full-time, non-union position that may require evening and weekend work. Frequent travel is required
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $57.70/hr.
