ASRC FederalNetcentric Technologies, LLCis seekinga Community Planner tosupportthe Kirtland AFB Engineering Operations Services (KEOS) contract inAlbuquerque, New Mexico. KEOS is a base maintenance/operations support-type contract, also known as BMC or BOS.
Job Summary :
The Community Planner will support andassistin planning land use and development on Kirtland AFB to help ensure the mission success of the base.
Responsible for all military construction planning requirements for the installationin accordance withFederal and Air Force guidelines with consideration for life cycle, mission change, catastrophic failures, activity management plan, and more.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinateswith base management and advisory groups to plan long-range development and forecast requirements.
Preparesand updatesbase development plan.
Preparesstudies that help analyze population growth and base needs.
Coordinateson-site evaluations and create project proposals to assess and present information about development needs and land usage.
Performstechnical planning functions including research, review, analysis, presentation, and coordination of siting requests and track siting approvals.
Developsand updatesplanning trackers, reports, and briefings.
Prepares,participatesin,and/or conductsbriefings, meetings, conferences, design charrettes, etc. involving planning issues.
Performsadditionalplanning requirements as needed.
Requirements :
Bachelor’sdegree in applied science(Architectural/EngineeringTechnology,Drafting, Planningor relateddegree); relevantexperiencemaybe considered in lieu of degree.
Minimumof oneyear ofrelevantexperience.
Skill in communicating orally and in writing with clarity, conciseness, and persuasiveness.
Be able to prepare aconduct briefings tocustomers including senior leadership.
Be willing and able to work with customers andcoworkersin a courteous,professional, and effective manner.
Must be able to pass a drug screen.
Must be a US citizen and currentlypossessor be able to obtain/maintaina U.S. government-issued security clearance.
Be proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 software suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Mustmaintaina valid US driver's license.
Be committed to providing for andmaintaininga safe working environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Community Planning.
At least three years of experienceat a US military installation, other government agency, orsimilar sizeand scope campus or set of facilities.
Proficient in use of ESRI ArcGIS software.
