Robert Half Bank Loan Assistant in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bank Loan Assistant in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role primarily functions in the banking industry and involves the processing of commercial loans, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service. We are seeking a skilled individual proficient in loan servicing and administration, with the ability to effectively manage customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

Commercial loan processes - Beginning to end

• Oversee the initiation of loan documentation and ensure its accuracy.

• Process payments and advances on commercial and real estate loans.

• Conduct comprehensive account research to update customers' complete banking relationships.

• Handle the preparation of documents for Small Business Administration (SBA) loans in compliance with federal regulations.

• Assist loan officers in preparing and providing necessary documentation.

• Analyze and process all incoming loan disbursements in accordance with the contract.

• Set up and maintain credit and other files for documentation and compliance.

• Monitor collateral addenda’s and other tickler systems to ensure proper receipt of UCC, Deeds of Trust, and Title Policy filings.

• Work closely with customers to ensure proper insurance policies are received and maintained.

• Distribute daily and monthly reports and provide excellent customer service at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in loan review and loan servicing for commercial, with 2-3 years experience

• Proficiency in managing commercial loans

• Demonstrated ability in handling approved loans

• Experience in loan administration

• Knowledge and experience with purchase loans

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in using banking software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to banking regulations

• High ethical standards and professionalism in all business dealings

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines

• Willingness to continue learning and improving banking skills.
