Description
We are in the process of recruiting a Staff Accountant to join our team in the northwest metro. This role revolves around a variety of accounting tasks, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll, bank reconciliations, and month end closure. This position is a promising opportunity for individuals with a background in accounting and finance, eager to utilize and enhance their skills in a growing team.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications, ensuring efficiency and timeliness.
• Maintain precise records of customer credit information.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolving any issues or concerns promptly.
• Monitor customer accounts regularly, taking appropriate action when necessary.
• Oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately.
• Carry out bank reconciliations regularly to ensure financial records are up-to-date and accurate.
• Prepare and process journal entries, ensuring the general ledger is accurately maintained.
• Conduct month-end closure procedures in a timely and accurate manner.
• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage financial data and processes efficiently.
Requirements • Must possess proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management
• Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations is essential
• Demonstrated experience with General Ledger management is required
• Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries is a must
• Experience in handling Month End Close activities is necessary
• Knowledge and experience in using NetSuite for accounting tasks is required
• Proficiency in using Oracle for managing accounts is essential
• Must possess experience in using QuickBooks for accounting activities
• Experience in using SAP for accounting tasks is required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
• Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Should have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are essential
• Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
