Job Title: Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

New opportunity specializing in the manufacturing of pre-manufactured modular homes for multi-family living, senior living, and hospitality developments. Modular homes involve manufacturing entire buildings in a production environment and transporting them to construction sites for assembly.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

  • Install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, and appliances.

  • Connect circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.

  • Construct and fabricate parts using hand tools and specifications.

  • Make recommendations to plan layouts, installs, and repairs of wiring, switches, circuit breakers, and fuse boxes.

  • Inspect wiring and fixtures for company specifications or local electrical codes.

  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment to ensure compliance with electrical codes.

  • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.

  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of skilled electrical work on commercial and residential new builds.

  • Knowledge of MN building codes.

  • Ability to read blueprints and knowledge of electrical applications.

  • Knowledge of methods and techniques of performing skilled electrical work.

  • Ability to work in collaboration, lead, and be a team player.

  • Skilled in interpersonal communication by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
