The Office of Financial Aid is seeking an Assistant Director (AD) of Financial Aid for Partnership Programs . The Assistant Director is responsible for the awarding and administration of student financial aid and provides comprehensive counsel to students on financial aid processes, procedures, and opportunities. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for graduate students enrolled in our online partnership programs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Guides prospective and current students through the financial aid and student accounts process.

  • Assists students with navigating the financial aid portal, My Sage Aid, and other online processes.

  • Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing, a variety of financial aid and enrollment related information to students. Explains aid programs, application procedures and eligibility criteria.

  • Financial aid packaging of graduate students in online partnership programs.

  • Assist the Student Accounts Office as needed in answering questions relating to payment plans and billing questions for students enrolled in online partnership programs.

  • Participate in Admissions and community presentations.

  • Other duties as assigned by Director of Financial Aid

The estimated wage is $24.35 per hour for 37.5 hours per week for 52 weeks.

  • This is an entry level, professional position. We are willing to train a motivated candidate. No experience is necessary.

  • Bachelor's Degree recommended.

  • Ability to work effectively within an ethically, culturally, and socially diverse student population.

  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written skills to effectively communicate with students, staff, faculty, and the public in a courteous manner.

  • Self-motivated and ability to work individually or as part of a team.

  • Strong organizational and management skills.

  • Prioritizes maintaining a collaborative and respective work environment.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills; personable, energetic, and responsive.

  • Datatel/Colleague experience preferred and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.
