ATI is currently looking to hire a Human Resources Director for our Specialty Alloys & Components (SA&C) Business Unit located in Albany, Oregon. As the Human Resources Director your primary role is to provide strategic HR leadership and direction for the represented facilities in our organization. You will oversee the HR function at our represented facilities comprised of 1,100 salary and represented hourly employees, ensuring that it aligns with the company's strategic goals and supports our HR Business Partners (HRBPs) in achieving their stakeholder objectives. Reporting to the Senior Director, HR, you will be responsible for supporting and driving the overall HR strategy, as well as maintaining and improving HR processes, policies, and procedures at our represented facilities.

In order to be successful in this role you will need to have strong conflict management skills, a passion for developing employees and a strong desire drive HR strategy with the organizational goals in mind. The HR Director will quickly develop trust with employees and leaders by having a strong understanding of people and not be afraid to dive into issues head on.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy for our represented facilities that aligns the people, labor, and organizational design initiatives with the organization's overall growth plan and strategy.

  • Leverage HR KPI’s and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement and to derive data-driven insights for decision making and HR strategy development.

  • Collaborate with HRBPs, HR Centers of Excellence, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for standardization, process improvements, and aligned strategic initiatives that support business and HR strategies and objectives.

  • Partner with the Senior Director of HR and the HRBPs at represented facilities to develop and manage a comprehensive labor strategy.

  • Support the Labor Relations HRBP in proper execution of local Collective Bargaining Agreements, labor processes, and strategies.

  • Implement streamlined and efficient HR processes to enhance HR service delivery to organizational stakeholders.

  • In partnership with the HRBPs, develop and maintain project and change management plans, timelines, and budgets that support and align with the HR Strategy.

  • Oversee all HR programs and projects to ensure they align with the organization's strategic goals, on-time and on budget.

  • Support HRBPs during periods of organizational change, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining high levels of employee engagement.

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and development for the HR team, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement and department succession.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • 6+ years of Human Resources leadership experience.

  • 4+ years of Labor Relations experience in a represented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources.

  • Experience in a global industrial or manufacturing company.

  • Familiarity with HR technology and tools, including HRIS systems.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, regulations, and industry trends.
