Capital Region BOCES Teacher-Academic Integration-Mathematics in Albany, New York
LOCATION: Career & Technical Education – Albany & Schoharie Campuses
BASIC FUNCTION: Enforcement of previously introduced skills and implementation of daily classroom routines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To teach mathematics in a Career & Technical and Special Education high school setting.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team of educators to teach integrated science activities in the career & technical and special education programs using the co-teaching model set forth by the NYS and BOCES services.
Job Qualifications
NYS teaching certification in Mathematics 7-12.
Some experience with Special Education students ideal.
Willingness and ability to embrace new challenges and ideas and to work as an integral part of a team.
The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001
