Safety Manager
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to join our team. The Safety Manager will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to promote a safety-conscious culture within the organization. What You Will Do
Evaluates health and safety exposures and hazards at the various locations/departments of the Company.
Evaluate safety practices and compliance.
Investigate accidents and recommend remedial and preventive plans.
Maintain records for OSHA and DOT. Work in conjunction with Human Resources on employee-related records.
Maintain SDS records, in conjunction with Department Heads and Purchasing Manager.
Ensure Environmental compliance.
Oversee and ensure required safety training is completed, in conjunction with VP of Learning and VP of Operations.
All other duties as needed and requested.
Do you have?
A high school diploma is required. A bachelor’s degree in environmental health and safety or related field is preferred.
Valid Driver's License
A (CSP) Certified Safety Professional designation is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work independently, make quick decisions and respond with urgency.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while being well organized and attentive to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong working knowledge of health and safety regulations and protocols.
