Habilitative, supportive and/or clinical services are rendered for the large majority of service recipients on a daily basis (24/7), 365 days per year. This personnel system is yet another focus of data analytics to assure proper identification of quality and compliance measures, which are integral to the management of a service system of this size. The Research Scientist 6, Director of State Operations Business Analytics and Research, formulates and carries out complete research plans. Projects require systematic research on problems that have been recognized as exceptionally difficult and unyielding to research analysis and require unconventional or novel research approaches and use of sophisticated research techniques. The Director of State Operation's (SO) Bureau of Business Analytics and Research will lead a team of approximately 13 staff. The Director will implement both a strategic research agenda and complementary business analytics program, conceptualizing and designing studies to inform SO policy and practice and generalizable practice in the area of IDD focused service delivery.
