Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Albany, NY. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for creating code compliant, precise, and accurate layouts based on blueprints, designs, and specifications to guide the production process. This role involves the use of specialized tools and software to measure and mark materials, ensuring that manufacturing or construction projects are executed correctly.
Key Responsibilities:
Blueprint Analysis:
Interpret and analyze blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
Understand and apply the dimensions and layouts needed for production.
Layout Creation:
Use tools such as ,rulers, and laser measuring devices to create accurate layouts.
Be able to describe pipe and fitting pieces, from a drawing that will be prefabricated and sent to a project.
Quality Control:
Verify layout accuracy by comparing measurements and ensuring compliance with specifications.
Inspect materials and finished products for defects and deviations from standards.
Collaboration:
Work closely with engineers, designers, and production teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of projects.
Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement in layout processes and techniques.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of layouts, measurements, and modifications.
Prepare and update layout reports and logs as required.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure the layout area is compliant with industry regulations and standards.
Participate in safety training and initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is preferred.
7-10 years experience with layout work in a manufacturing or construction environment.
Proficiency in using layout tools and software (e.g., CAD programs).
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Keen attention to detail and precision.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Salary Expectations: $66,000-$89,000 per year, depending on experience as well as achieving NICET Certification in Water Based Systems
