Public Partnerships LLC supports individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses and aging adults, to remain in their homes and communities and “self” direct their own long-term home care. Our role as the nation’s largest and most experienced Financial Management Service provider is to assist those eligible Medicaid recipients to choose and pay for their own support workers and services within their state-approved personalized budget. We are appointed by states and managed healthcare organizations to better serve more of their residents and members requiring long-term care and ensure the efficient use of taxpayer funded services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and coordinates multiple projects across the organization, from inception to completion, to ensure each internal clients’ deliverables are met in a timely manner.

  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company priorities, commitments, and goals.

  • Leads the planning and implementation of cross-functional projects.

  • Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.

  • Develops full scale project plans.

  • Defines project tasks and resource requirements.

  • Investigates and analyzes clients’ processes, recommends solutions to meet the internal clients’ needs, leads training for internal stakeholders, manages implementation of new processes and technology, and provides ongoing maintenance and support to business partners.

  • Tracks project deliverables using appropriate tools.

  • Manages day-to-day operational aspect of a project and/or stakeholder interaction.

  • Conducts and facilitates regular project status meetings, communicates updates, and provides timely reports to stakeholders, including project status, issues, risks, and resolutions.

  • Presents reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions.

  • Implements and manages project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.

  • Responsible for project evaluations and assessment of results.

  • Monitors internal client requests and recommends solutions to increase team efficiency and rapid responses to meet internal client needs.

  • Effectively engages colleagues and peers in the development and execution of strategies and work plans, and effectively coaches/leads other colleagues to do the same.

  • Ensures adherence to project management best practices, methodologies, and standards.

  • Champions continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Proven project management skills, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and control.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Effective communicator both written and verbal

  • Planning and organizing

  • Influencing and leading delegation

  • MS Project Knowledge

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (preferably with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.)

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field; degree preferred.

4+ years of experience managing complex, multi-year projects.

Certification:

Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred. Will substitute for applicable experience.
