JOB SUMMARY

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for and act as the project executive for all onsite construction activities.

  • Own the site construction program including implementation of best-known industry processes through direct reports, design teams, construction teams and vendors.

  • Focus the team on 1 - Safety, 2 - Schedule, 3 - Cost, 4 - Continuous Improvement.

  • Lead and mentor a team of direct report project managers and site superintendents and be their point of escalation.

  • Effectively work with site partners & contractors' leadership to resolve issues and constraints in a timely & cost-effective manner.

  • Executive in PowerPoint/in person presentations, construction progress as needed with the senior leadership team.

  • Provide master planning input for the existing site.

  • Develop and implement contracting strategy specifically tailored to the needs of future site improvement projects.

  • Other reasonable duties as assigned

    Job Requirements:

Minimum Requirements for Director of Construction Program Management

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • 10 years project management experience in semiconductor industry construction with project values in excess of $100M each.

  • 10 years project management experience in the semiconductor industry on new install or site improvement projects including specific experience in:

  • Heavy civils, structural and architectural infrastructure including foundations, precast concrete frames, structural steel frames, cast-insitu concrete components, roofing systems, siding systems, reinforced concrete tanks / pits, chemical resistant coatings, roadways.

  • Cleanroom systems build-out and modifications and or/upgrades including RMF, walls, doors, ceilings, RFUs, showers/eyewashes, AMHS system.

  • Base build system installs of critical facilities equipment such as MAU/RA units, general exhaust, exhaust abatement systems, PCW systems & UPW systems, PVAC systems, boilers, chillers.

  • Electrical HV yard construction, Electrical utility building, medium voltage substations and line-up equipment, low voltage systems such as Fire Alarm, TGMS, Instrumentation & Controls.

  • Install or upgrade of Bulk chemical, bulk gas and specialty gas process systems including tank farms, gas yards, chemical and gas distribution rooms.

  • Install or upgrade waste systems including slurry rooms, collection stations, transfer / pumping stations, waste equalization systems, treatment systems.

  • Install of process lateral distribution and delivery systems for tool installation including exhaust, chemical, waste, PCW, UPW, PVAC, bulk gas, specialty gas, electrical, low voltage distribution.

  • 10 years' experience leading design teams on semiconductor projects.

  • 10 years' experience in leading multiple smaller semiconductor construction projects concurrently.

  • 10 years' experience leading the collaboration of a team of design and construction professionals for large scale semiconductor construction projects.

  • 10 years experience working directly for the owner or as the owner's representative on large scale semiconductor construction projects.

  • 5 years' experience in program management or project executive roles in the semiconductor industry.

  • Demonstrate implementation of construction safety culture values in previous semiconductor industry projects completed.

  • Demonstrate success in the install and upgrade of critical facility equipment systems in a live operating environment with zero ITPs as a minimum expectation.

  • Previous construction experience in a semiconductor tool install program including tool layout management and tool hook-up.

  • Previous experience in semiconductor tool demo with a particular focus on tool decontamination and safe tool disconnect.

  • Demonstrate experience in detailed cost forecasting and successful management of construction to the project budget.

  • Demonstrate experience in successful management of project schedule with particular focus on key milestone deliverables.

  • Demonstrate experience in reporting project progress with KPIs to executive leadership and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate a progressive career path profile in the semiconductor industry through the successful completion of previously completed projects.

This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check; this position may require annual background checks.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in implementing a lean construction program for large construction projects.

  • Experience in leading collaboration between design teams and construction teams with a 'Big Room' mentality.

  • Knowledge and implementation of commissioning program for advanced technology projects.

  • P6 Project scheduling software experience on large semiconductor projects.

  • Previous experience working for the AE and GC.

Salary Range: $175,000-$185,000

*Posted salary rates are determined upon experience and education
