Description

We are offering a part time IT Tech position in Albany, New York. This role involves advising member services maintaining and updating various software and equipment, troubleshooting issues, and assisting in major updates to the company's technological infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Advise on the purchase of equipment to utilize current technology, best practices, and pricing.

• Conduct daily and weekly backups of software and hardware, including internet-based phone systems and accounting software.

• Ensure all software updates and licensing compliance for servers, users, and equipment are maintained.

• Manage the company’s internet connection, wireless routers, and switch cascade.

• Set up new equipment with prescribed software, protection, access modes, and new-user accounts.

• Attend local and remote meetings, transport and set up meeting equipment, coordinate venue’s equipment and systems, and operate the company’s voting software.

• Assist in major updates to the company's website, mobile app, and technology infrastructure.

• Process dues and deduction files to and from the State Comptroller's Office and vendors for various payroll deductions.

• Assist with downloading and saving Executive Board Audio Recordings and any other audio or video records of meetings.

• Order, track, and inventory equipment, including cellular phones and tablets, as well as license agreements.

• Troubleshoot internet based phone system with provider and desktop computer, laptop, printer, and internet connection issues.

• Handle website password verification and activation.

• Perform other duties that arise or are assigned.

Requirements

• Familiarity with database management

• Proficiency in Microsoft including access
