Job Description Summary

The Construction contract admin plays a crucial role in the successful completion of construction projects. They are responsible for processing and ensuring that all contracts are accurately documented throughout the duration of the project. In addition, the construction contract admin is responsible for preparing invoices, tracking payments, and resolving any payment discrepancies or issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processing and maintaining sub-contracts.
  • Solicitation and Management of Vendors and Subcontractors to meet MWBE Goals on State and Federally funded Contracts.
  • Compliance with EEO requirements.
  • Preparing project invoices and payments for subcontractors.
  • Preparing and organizing job files, including job set-ups.
  • Assisting project managers, superintendents, and field personnel as needed.
  • Other duties as needed.



Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Drug screen and background check required before being employed by Callanan Industries, Inc.


Preferences
  • Prior experience in the construction field.


Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma; or equivalent
  • Administrative experience


Salary and Benefits
  • This position offers an hourly pay of $24 - $25 based on experience.
