Our financial counseling professionals provide proactive financial counseling, full-service implementation, including tax preparation and investments, to address complexities of executives, entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals? We are seeking professionals with an understanding of the markets who have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, strong communication skills, and client service are essential to maintaining and enhancing our business.
Principal Responsibilities:* Assisting in the production of insurance applications;
* Requesting, tracking and securing medical information from practitioners/medical facilities;
* Assisting with scheduling insurance exams for clients;
* Daily production of detailed and efficient emails and letters;
* Updating, reviewing and maintaining proprietary databases, directories and files;
* Assisting with the production of enrollment materials for support purposes;
* Scanning and electronic filing of insurance documentation;
* Phone coverage for Underwriting & Case Management Unit
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Basic Qualifications:
* Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
* Two to three years work experience in a professional office environment preferred
* Prior experience in the life insurance underwriting industry preferred
* Working knowledge of database management and Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Strong customer service skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Exceptional interpersonal, communication, organizational skills
* Self-starting ability to handle multiple priorities effectively and efficiently
* Experience handling confidential and sensitive business matters and information with discretion
Salary Range
The expected base salary for this Albany, New York, United States-based position is $55000-$75000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
