Robert Half Payroll Administrator in Alamo, California

Description

One of our clients in the Alamo area is looking for a Payroll Administrator for a contract opportunity.

  • Coordinate with HR to obtain and verify all data for payroll (e.g., time records, benefits, deductions).

  • Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis using payroll software.

  • Resolve payroll discrepancies via information collection and analysis.

  • Maintain and document all payroll records.

  • Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures and files.

  • Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll production.

  • Answer employees' questions and concerns regarding payroll.

  • Generate reports for upper management, finance department, and others.

  • Stay current with federal and state payroll regulations.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field.

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator, Payroll Officer or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of legislation relevant to payroll.

  • Working knowledge of payroll software (e.g., ADP, Sage).

  • Strong numerical skills and an analytical mind.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal).
