Our client, a personal care & household products manufacturer, is seeking a skilled QC Line Inspector to join their team in Alameda County, CA!

Job type: Contract

Location: Alameda County, CA

Pay rate: $18- $21/ hr. (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs), company policies, and industry guidelines.

  • Conduct testing at various stages of production, including in-process, bulk product, and finished goods.

  • Perform routine product tests, such as pH measurement, specific gravity, viscosity, and sensory evaluations (color, odor, appearance, texture).

  • Prepare and send product samples to contract laboratories, and perform follow-up actions as needed.

  • Send samples to customers as required, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

  • Record and document QC assay details with precision, including lot numbers, test results, and physical observations.

  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly calibration of laboratory equipment, maintaining accurate records.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.

  • Monitor and document daily temperature readings.

  • Ensure consistent adherence to company procedures and applicable standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in a quality control or laboratory setting.

  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, rounding).

  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and keyboarding.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Positive, professional, and cooperative demeanor.

  • High level of accountability and ownership over tasks and projects.
