The Opportunity

This position works onsite at our Alameda, CA location in the Lingo Division. Working on Lingo, you will help build a next-generation technology that enables individuals to make decisions about how to improve energy, lose weight or enhance athletic performance. The Lingo team embodies a start-up culture and mindset with the backing of Abbott, a company with a rich history of healthcare innovation.

What You’ll Work On

  • Oversee implementing features across multiple platforms (Android/IOS/React Native)

  • Implement Native (IOS and Android) features and React Native API bridge (turbomodules)

  • Independently design and maintain large features.

  • Lead initiatives and guide software engineers in execution.

  • Own end-to-end delivery of projects.

  • High quality deliverables with emphasis on scalability and testability.

  • Strong coding, debugging, and design skills in line with best practices.

  • Mentor software engineers.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in software development, computer science, or a related engineering field.

  • 5+ years of experience in iOS and Android development

  • Experience with Swift UI, Jetpack Compose

  • Debugging on IOS and Android

  • Performance analysis on iOS and Android

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Flow, Coroutines or ReactiveX

  • Strong Kotlin experience (Kotlin Multiplatform or Kotlin as backend is a strong plus)

  • experience developing, documenting and maintaining a native (Android/IOS) library is a strong plus

  • Bluetooth stack experience is a plus

The base pay for this position is $109,300.00 – $218,500.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
