SFMC (salesforce marketing cloud) Business Analyst

Job Description:

This person is the primary liaison between IT and the Commercial business. Must have experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Assists in the liaison activities between the IT and business areas.

  • Assists in determining business requirements and developing a business case (KPI).

  • Assures project quality by using standard development methodologies and by working with Software Quality Assurance (SQA) to develop and execute project quality plans.

  • Maintains project delivery information using portfolio management tool and by working with appropriate project stakeholders. Reviews efforts of work to determine timeframe and procedures for accomplishing tasks.

  • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures

  • Lead and Facilitate requirements gathering discussions

  • Translate business requirements into design specifications

  • Facilitate Business Case and Use Case Development

  • Ensure the value proposition is documented, understood and agreed

  • Provide domain-specific subject matter expertise

  • Provide accurate project estimations

  • Communicates project status by preparing standard status reports, and by participating in departmental and customer project status update meetings.

  • Identifies and implements process improvements.

  • Drive Solution Design with enterprise alignment in mind

  • End to End understanding of IT services/solutions in your domain

  • Perform KPI fulfillment/assessment.

    Required Education/Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Min 5 years of experience with business analysis activities

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Administration (capable to do hands-on configurations)

  • Salesforce Marketing cloud (MUST have 5 plus yrs. Experience)

  • Agile/Scrum understanding

  • Business/IT Analyst

  • Jira/Workfront

  • Strong trust relationship with Business Stakeholders

  • Strong trust relationship with Delivery team.

  • Strong analytical ability – MS Project Online, Excel, PowerPoint required

  • Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to translate between business-focused and technical-focused individuals

  • Experience in developing, communicating, and managing simple to moderate project plans

  • Strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualification/Experience

  • Experience with Veeva CRM

  • Prior Healthcare experience

  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum team

  • Experience working with Commercial operations/ Sales Ops teams
