Supervisor Jr., Production

Job Description:

Direct and coordinate activities concerned with production of company product(s),

utilizing knowledge of product technology, production methods and procedures and

capabilities of machines and equipment. Job duties:

• Direct and coordinate manufacturing or building of product.

• Confer with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards and to obtain data regarding quantities, specification, and delivery dates of products.

• Review and analyze production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications.

• Plan and direct production activities and establish production priorities.

• Consult with engineering relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products.

• Maintain open lines of communication between employees, management, and executives.

• Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly.

• Evaluate each station of the manufacturing process to ensure maximum efficiency.

• Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work to continuously improve in all areas.

• Manage departmental performance measures including visual controls and provide regular progress reports to manager.

• Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in related field or in progress.

2. Minimum three (3) years of experience in medical device environment.

3. Minimum two (2) years of experience at a supervisory capacity.

Desired Qualifications

1. Knowledge of regulatory guidelines.

2. Knowledge of medical and biomedical development.

3. Analyzes data and proposing solutions.

4. Knowledge of production equipment.

5. Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Internet experience desirable.
