The Opportunity

This position works out of our Coyol de Alajuela location in the Sturctural Heart division. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.

This position is responsible, under general direction, for the execution of routine testing, reviewing documentation, gathering data for indicators, and routine laboratory support activities.

What You’ll Do

• Execute routine tests to monitor chemicals, solutions, and raw materials for the manufacturing operation. With focus in good documentation practices.

• Review test results and other documentation with a keen eye for detail and identify any errors or inconsistencies in the analysis documentation.

• Execute routine laboratory support activities like: Washing glassware, receiving samples, cleaning work areas and equipment, ordering materials, and managing paper documentation.

• Provide ideas for Laboratory documents improvements.

• Maintain 5S' and Lean Manufacturing programs in the Laboratory.

• Provide support to the manufacturing site in low-impact investigations..

Required Qualifications

  • Advaced student / Bachelor's Degree, Laboratory Analyst or related field in Chemistry.

  • 0-1 years of working experience on similar roles.

  • Computer software knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint).

  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain safety in the work place

  • Basic English level / Required
