Description We are in search of a meticulous and proficient Bookkeeper for an engaging role based in Alafaya, Florida. The selected candidate will join our team, playing a critical role in managing financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. This role resides within the telecom industry and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.

• Apply appropriate account reconciliations ensuring accurate representation of the company’s financial position.

• Execute month-end close procedures efficiently.

• Use QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reporting.

• Manage all aspects of general ledger including fixed assets, inventory, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.

• Develop streamlined procedures for workflow to improve efficiency.

• Maintain an organized and streamlined accounting system.

• Provide administrative and clerical support as needed.

• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws in all financial procedures. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations

• Proven track record in Bookkeeping

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Month End Close processes

• Knowledge of Payroll procedures

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Compliance with all company policies and procedures

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
