SUMMARY: The primary role of the Receptionist is to receive and relay incoming calls. Greet visitors and determine the nature of their business and direct to appropriate offices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
· Answer the telephone calls and disseminate to appropriate staff on a timely manner.
· Greet visitors with tact and courtesy and provide guidance to appropriate programs.
· Direct calls accurately by being aware of all programs, directors, extensions and names.
· Maintain telephone directory for all Tribal Buildings, updating and distributing on a monthly basis.
· Take messages for program staff when unavailable and ensure timely delivery of messages.
· Report all malfunctions of the telephone system to the appropriate service repair.
· Provide clerical duties for Tribal programs which will include, but not limited to word-processing, sorting paperwork and receiving/distributing applications.
· Other related duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
One-year certification from College or Technical School; And
Six months experience and/or training; Or
Equivalent experience and training.
Possession of a valid State Driver’s License in accordance with Fleet Policy.
