Woodworker / Plastics Fabricator / Supervisor - Akron, OH - JOB 24-00886 Salary Range: $27.00 - $32.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits. REQUIREMENTS • High School graduate • Experience in cabinetmaking, casework, laminating, reading blueprints and technical problem solving. • Seeking candidates that have 2+ years' experience with wood and plastic fabrication of exhibits / displays (POP / POS) for trade shows or other very closely related products. • The wood & plastics fabricator will utilize a wide variety of materials to produce exhibits / displays for trade shows. • Must be able to build prototypes in wood and plastic, make jigs and patterns, set-up production runs, and construct displays using plastics, wood and Client laminates. • Ability to cut, shape, heat bend and prototype various sheet plastic materials is required. • Manage the production schedule and crew, set-up the production runs, read & interpret work orders and production drawings, make jigs and patterns necessary for fabrication, • Position involves working in a woodworking and production job shop environment which produces displays with a multitude of materials. • Must be a self-starter and be detail oriented. • Paid vacation and benefits Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
