Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Office Administrator in Akron, Ohio. As part of our team, this role will primarily focus on ensuring smooth office operations in a fast-paced setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks, including office inventory management, vendor agreements maintenance, and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure a welcoming environment for all visitors by maintaining the office's daily operations and offering refreshments as needed.

• Manage and order office inventory, including materials, supplies, and documents.

• Maintain vendor agreements related to office operations, such as phone systems, cleaning services, and security services.

• Serve as the primary administrator for phone systems across all locations, including the creation of ring groups and call routing.

• Document and direct all customer concerns to the appropriate person or department.

• Coordinate company travel as needed.

• Collaborate with providers for General Liability and Workers Compensation to assist with claims, annual renewals, and audits.

• Oversee customer interactions and feedback channels.

• Provide administrative support for the Sr. Leadership team as needed.

• Assist in implementing HRIS and integrating it into daily functions.

• Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding of all employees, including conducting 90-day check-in interviews with new hires.

• Administer the annual review process and oversee employee recognition initiatives.

• Maintain and distribute all operational documents, such as handbooks, job descriptions, and policies and procedures.

• Maintain employee records in both digital and physical forms.

• Use Microsoft Office Suites for tasks such as Calendar Management, Event Planning, and Correspondence, among others.

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word.

• Experience with Calendar Management, Correspondence, Benefits Administration, Event Planning.

• Ability to conduct Background Checks, Drug Screens, New Hire Orientations.

• Strong skills in Employee Relations, Onboarding, Order Office Supplies, and HRIS System.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word.

• Experience with Calendar Management and handling Correspondence.

• Familiarity with Benefits Administration.

• Proven skills in Event Planning.

• Ability to conduct Background Checks and Drug Screens.

• Experience in conducting New Hire Orientations.

• Understanding of Employee Relations.

• Familiarity with Onboarding process.

• Experience in ordering office supplies.

• Proficiency in using HRIS System.
