Role Objective Manages and coordinates sales activities at assigned public sector (government - federal, state and local; penitentiaries and VAs; K-12 and higher education) accounts, in a defined territory, to maximize acquisition, penetration and retention of business. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Delivers sales and service to large (end-user) account opportunities within the public sector market in an assigned territory Develops effective sales plans and strategies with emphasis on developing key value-added relationships based on services provided * Fully maps and prioritizes all targeted hand hygiene opportunities within territory * Develops constructive, profitable and cooperative working relationships with relevant Key Decision Makers (KDMs), influencers and end-users at each assigned target * Identifies and shares new market/segment/product opportunities with public sector team leadership * Identifies end-user customers' preferred supplier of choice * Develops effective sales plans and strategies for assigned markets and accounts. Executes and tracks progress of business strategies for assigned accounts and distributors * Develops and delivers business reviews, conducts satisfaction audits, introduces compliance-building tactics, and leverages appropriate resources to maximize compliance within existing accounts * Manages long-term end-user relationships and account development plans * Updates and maintains assigned account information, records and data leveraging CRM * Leverages local government marketing resources to build sales outreach capability and market understanding * Identifies and communicates market needs to appropriate GOJO team members * Trains and coaches Distributor Sales Representatives (DSRs) to ensure field sales competency within assigned accounts and distributors * Assumes responsibility for identifying and pursuing individual training and development in addition to GOJO performance management system individual development process Education and Experience BA/BS in business or related discipline preferred, with a minimum of three (3) years' experience in public sector markets Previous experience with the US Military or government would be a distinct advantage Experience selling and managing federal agencies, organizations and distribution programs and products (nationally and/or locally) is preferred Supervision/Coordination Trains and interacts with distributor field sales resources; collaborates with marketing and sales support Develops new customers and trade groups This role does not supervise other GOJO team members To Apply: To apply for this position, please complete the online application process.
